Absolutely charming hotel with wonderful friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us with our stay, booking reliable and reasonable taxis / guides and letting us check in early at the very busy festival period. Room is basic but clean and large with good air con and lovely balcony and terracotta frieze. The hotel's lobby and lounge with the terracotta arts and furnishings are just wonderful, making this a very special and unique place, even more than the pictures denote. The location is perfect inside old town and right on the doorstep of excellent street food market and walking distance to temples. The pool was a peaceful and uncrowded respite in the city. Do not miss a visit to Faces Restaurant directly opposite, a magical place for a cocktail or a bite to eat, cooling and shaded in the daytime heat with fountains and more charming terracotta. Truly just beautiful, both places. So glad we stayed there.

Phor Liang Meun Terracotta Arts has become one of my very favorite hotels. It was my "home base" during my recent trip to Thailand. Its location in the old city of Chiang Mai is fantastic. My friend and I stayed there for four nights and returned there twice for one night each time after traveling around northern Thailand. The hotel and its entire property are clean and beautiful. As soon as we walked into the reception area we were greeted by the most charming, friendly and helpful staff who truly made our stay exceptional. Each time we returned they treated us like valued friends! The breakfasts there were wonderful too with lovely servers. I cannot say enough about how fabulous this hotel is. If I return to the wonderful city of Chiang Mai this is the hotel I will come to!

My partner and I had a great five night stay in this lovely hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and well supplied with a welcome gift, towels, free snacks and drinks and an umbrella. The staff were helpful and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you. On the day we were meant to be leaving this hotel my partner became ill (nothing to do with Thailand or the hotel) he spent four days in the local hospital. During this time they extended our stay, upgraded our room and looked after us in every way they could. We will hopefully return here in the next few years.

A great, central hotel where we stayed for 4 nights. The rooms are modern and very clean. The bathroom is fantastic and had a wonderful bathtub. Our room had direct access to the pool, which is why we would recommend this type of room. The breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. We especially want to highlight the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. We were assisted quickly and competently with every concern. The terracotta style throughout the hotel was also very nice and we really liked it. We would love to come back.

Location was excellent, staff were friendly, kind and very helpful booking activities etc. Breakfast is nice, eggs cooked to order and coffee made with a proper machine. Great restaurant across the road 'The Faces' housed in a spectacular building. The manager recommended a fantastic chocolate shop close by called Khom. This is not a fancy hotel but we loved our stay here, it's small and we would definitely recommend and would book again if we return to Chiang Mai.
